Beni Mguild Rugs are from the middle Atlas mountains and are hand-knotted with handspun wool by the Berber women of Morocco. These rugs were traditionally made for extra comfort in winter times: to keep warm or to cover cold floors.
These handmade rugs are completely unique, all telling a story steeped in culture and superstition. These stories can be read through the symbols woven by the artisans.
This particular rug is a favorite of ours here at Kushti and looking at it it is easy to see why. The colour pallet of this rug guarantees it to be a statement piece in any home.

Handmade rugs may feature irregularities such as wonky edges, natural fading and colour variation. These characteristics are considered to enhance and add to the charm of Moroccan rugs. We make every effort to accurately photograph and list each item. However, if you are unsure about your purchase, you are welcome to contact us. We would be happy to help by sending more photos or a video.
